For nearly 10 years Chichester College (and now Chichester College Group) have supported The Walk centre in Nakuru, Kenya. The school provides education, a feeding programme and medical care where needed to over 500 children living on the town's rubbish dump in extreme poverty. The project raises the standard of education for these children and has continued to grow and develop. CCG sends a group of volunteers every year to support the project. However throughout the COVID pandemic the project has not had any volunteers and all other income streams for the project have dried up and so the project is struggling to pay for basics such as food, water and teaching resources for the next few months until volunteers return, therefore anything you can give will help the project to keep caring and educating these children.
