Public Services Enrichment Fee

Description

During your Public Services course, you will be attending several enrichments activities to support your knowledge and understanding of the public services.

Students are required to make a voluntary contribution of £50 to cover the cost of these enrichment activities for 23/24.

 

Detailed Description

The Enrichment activities include museum visits and outdoor adventures activities.


An example of the sort of enrichment activities are.

Kayaking.
Abseiling.
Low Ropes.
Hill Walking.
Orienteering.
Camping.
Bush Craft.
Basic Survival Skills.
Museum Trips.
Court visits.
Parliament visits.
Public Order Training.

You are not required to complete all the activities only the ones relevant to the unit that you are studying.

Further details will be given on activities nearer the time.

Unfortunately, we do require all students to make this contribution in order to run the activities. If you’re eligible for the learning support grant (LSG), then we can use this funding to cover this cost. If you are experiencing financial difficulty, then please speak to one of the Public Services lecturers in confidence.
